WHAT ARE YOU LEGAL RIGHTS
Lets talk about your legal rights. For an officer to pull over your vehicle, that officer must have "reasonable suspicion" and for an officer to arrest you, that officer must have "probable cause." Critical attention must be paid to all of the officer's paperwork to verify your rights were protected. Did you know that if the Judge finds your rights were not protected by law enforcement, your case may result in a dismissal. Karen Alexander is not afraid to put the police through their paces to insure the preservation of your rights. Did you know that once the officer pulls you out of your vehicle and tells you to perform the DWI tests (roadside gymnastics) that you have the right to say NO! Officers will often times make you feel that you have no choice. YOU HAVE RIGHTS. Did you know that once the officer gets you to the police station that you have the right to say no to the breath/blood test. YOU HAVE A CHOICE and it time that drivers start to exercise that choice. There are many reasons that a driver might say no to the breath or blood test and to performing the DWI tests. The following link will tell you a few reasons that you may want to exercise your right and choose to say NO.
